About This Event
Humanity and Dignity brings together our global network for a full day of reflection, exchange, and collective inquiry into the conditions shaping women’s lives across the world. Now in its third edition, this gathering has become one of the most anticipated moments in our network’s calendar.
The Central Question
How do we hold together a commitment to universal human dignity with an honest reckoning of the specific, material inequalities that women face? This is not an abstract philosophical question — it is the lived tension at the heart of feminist practice.
“We do not gather to agree. We gather to think together, more carefully, than we could alone.”
This year’s gathering will explore three dimensions of that tension:
- Economic inequality and how gendered poverty shapes access to rights, health, and opportunity.
- Legal recognition and the gap between formal rights and lived reality.
- Solidarity across difference — what it actually takes to build coalitions that hold.
Format
The day opens with a plenary address, moves into facilitated table conversations, and closes with a collective reflection. All sessions will be interpretation-supported in English and Spanish.
