About the event
About This Event
What does it mean to lead with integrity in a world shaped by inequality, uncertainty, and rapid change? This gathering brings together women thinkers, advocates, and practitioners from across 25 countries to explore that question — not with easy answers, but with honest conversation.
Over the course of one day, we will examine the conditions that shape women’s lives worldwide: the structural forces that constrain opportunity, the cultural narratives that define possibility, and the personal convictions that sustain action even in the face of resistance.
Why This Conversation Matters
The challenges facing women today are not new — but the urgency is. From the rollback of hard-won rights to the deepening of economic inequality, this is a moment that demands not just awareness, but collective wisdom and coordinated response.
"Leadership is not a title or a position. It is the choice to act, to speak, and to build — even when the path is uncertain."
This event is designed to create the conditions for exactly that kind of leadership to emerge: through dialogue, reflection, and the recognition that none of us is navigating this alone.
What to Expect
The day will move between plenary conversations and smaller working sessions, structured around three core questions:
- How do we name what is happening? Understanding the landscape of women’s rights and dignity today.
- How do we build together? Models of solidarity, coalition, and community across difference.
- How do we sustain ourselves? The personal, spiritual, and institutional roots of long-term action.
Each session will be facilitated by members of our network, with space for open exchange. We believe the most important conversations often happen between the scheduled moments — and we’ve built time for those too.
Who Should Attend
This event is open to all members of the International Network of Women Leaders, as well as invited guests and partners. Whether you are a researcher, a practitioner, a policymaker, or an advocate, there is a place for you in this conversation.
We particularly welcome those who are early in their leadership journey, those who work in contexts where women’s voices are systematically excluded, and those who bring perspectives that challenge our assumptions and expand our thinking.
Interpretation will be available in English and Spanish. The event will be recorded and made available to members who cannot attend in person.
